Ingredients:
- 1 pound kielbasa sausage, thinly sliced
- 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Set aside a 9×13-inch baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the kielbasa slices until they are browned and slightly crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Set the kielbasa aside after removing it from the skillet.
- Cook the minced garlic in the same skillet for 1-2 minutes, or until fragrant.
- Add the broccoli florets to the skillet with the garlic and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they start to soften.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, chicken broth, dried thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place half of the cooked broccoli in the prepared baking dish, followed by half of the cooked kielbasa slices. Sprinkle half of the shredded cheddar and Parmesan cheeses over the top.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining broccoli and kielbasa.
- Pour the cream mixture evenly over the entire dish.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminium foil and bake for 20 minutes in a preheated oven.
- After 20 minutes, remove the foil, and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
- Remove the kielbasa broccoli bake from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Enjoy your delicious kielbasa broccoli bake!
