Keto Cheeseburger Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup dill pickles, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until it’s browned and no longer pink, breaking it up into crumbles as it cooks. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet with the cooked beef. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, or until the onion is softened.
  4. Season the beef mixture with salt, black pepper, dried oregano, dried basil, paprika, and Worcestershire sauce. Remove from the heat after thoroughly stirring to mix.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and heavy cream until well combined.
  6. Grease a 9-inch pie dish or a similar-sized oven-safe dish.
  7. Spread the beef mixture evenly in the bottom of the greased dish.
  8. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheeses over the beef mixture.
  9. Pour the egg and cream mixture over the top of the cheese and beef.
  10. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the center is set, and the top is golden brown.
  11. While the pie is baking, prepare the topping by mixing together the grated Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, and chopped dill pickles.
  12. Once the pie is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  13. Spread the pickle and mayonnaise topping over the hot pie.
  14. Slice the pie into 6 servings and serve hot.
